NCRRA- North Coast Ratepayers & Residents Association organized yet another successful meeting at G10, Koroga- ASK Mkomani Showground on 30th October 2024.
A well-attended social breakfast meeting organized by NCRRA and CGM, Inspectorate Director, Mr. Said Gulleid with his team from different departments of CGM. In attendance were representatives from CGM, Inspectorate Dept., Nyali Traffic In-Charge, Finance Dept., Water Dept., & Environment Dept. This meeting gave our committee members an opportunity to air their concerns and give suggestions on issues affecting them. Some of the issues we deliberated on include noise pollution by reckless motorists, illegal kiosks, increased illegal dumping by Mkokoteni’s and other waste collectors, and the construction of high-rise apartment buildings not complying with existing laws within previously low density residential areas, i.e. Construction timings. Over the last 10 years, the association has contributed immensely in various ways at keeping our neighbourhood a conducive place to live in for our members and all residents. It is the continuous engagement via regular meetings with service providers and authorities that makes a difference.
