All footpaths that had been damaged by contractor(s) while installing pipes have successfully been repaired and restored to initial state. Some of the areas are: near Mamba Roundabout on Links Road, Mama Ngina Road and Beach Road (between Hare Krishna Mosque and Mamba Roundabout). Backfilling and restoration of Mama Ngina Road (before Jomo Kenyatta Junction) completed. Pending areas awaiting fittings include Park Lane/Mvita Junction, Park Lane/Greenwood Drive junction.
We are happy to note with satisfaction that residents of Cement Road were recently connected with water. New piping was done MOWASSCO contractor which ended many years of suffering by residents. Were in constant communication with MOWASSCO to have areas with leakages addressed; however, they’re heavily challenged in acquisition of fittings and spares. Jamhuri and Coral Drive water supply is troubled by low pressure experienced. However, MOWASSCO is looking into it.
